Art 4 Heart Festival Returns To Maricopa – Art 4 Heart, a community arts festival in Maricopa, Arizona, is celebrating its 5th anniversary and aims to cement its place as a significant part of the city’s cultural landscape. The event, which takes place on February 11th at Copper Sky, will feature a variety of local artists, live music, and fun activities for all ages.
One of the main focuses of the event is fundraising for the American Heart Association, with a goal of raising $2,000 this year. The funds raised will go towards helping those in need and finding solutions to heart disease.
The festival will showcase a variety of original artwork, including jewelry, weavings, pop culture t-shirts and accessories, and pottery. A live band will perform, featuring the Maricopa High School Orchestra and Jonathan Garavito and Venice Rush, a duo from the music department.
The popular Chalk Walk is also returning to Art 4 Heart this year. However, this time, the drawings will be done by students from the festival’s program, and will be open to all. Attendees will also have the opportunity to participate in prize raffles with donations from artists’ pieces along with the festival’s own designs.
For the kids, there will be a corner dedicated to fun arts and crafts. Food trucks will also be on hand, providing a variety of dining options.
This year, Art 4 Heart will feature a mix of new and returning artists, as well as participation from MHS clubs. The festival organizers are excited to welcome new artists and are still adding more to the lineup.
