Man Found Shot By Circle K – Fun times in Maricopa again this week. We are turning into a wild west show. Our ‘quite little desert town’ isn’t so quite.

About an hour ago, Maricopa Police Officers found an young man (18 years old) inside his vehicle with a gunshot wound to his upper arm. He was at the Circle K on Honeycutt Road.

The man told officers the shooting had occurred in the Maricopa Meadows neighborhood, and that he had driven himself to Circle K. 

According to Maricopa police, the man said that while he knows the shooter, but could not identify him (WTF?).
The man was transported to a Valley trauma center with non-life-threatening injuries. Not sure why the man couldn’t, or wouldn’t, identify his shooter. Knowing your shooter would generally mean that you can ID them, right? Perhaps he wants to do a ‘Inigo Montoya’ aye?

An investigation continues after a man was found with an apparent gunshot wound in his arm on Thursday night. 

Detectives still are trying to verify all of the details of the incident that the man reported. The case remains open and under investigation. 

This seems to be started a bit of a trend of violent & drug related crimes (not saying THIS is drug related at all).
